MAISON FUNCTION VENUE FAQ

Wedding receptions, school formals and special event functions such as
charity balls require a lot of pre-planning, especially larger functions
and those that include a ceremony. We have compliled the following list
of the most frequently asked questions for your conveniance.

Your forms are due 21 days prior to your function
Typically an initial deposit of $2,000 is due to confirm a booking. Following this a 25% installment (less the deposit paid) is due 12 months from the function date or one (1) month after booking, if the booking is made within twleve (12) months of the function date. Please note, we also alternative offer payment terms which can be negotiated prior to booking if alternative arrangement is preferred. Our friendly staff would be happy to assist.
Preferrably 45 days prior to your function, or at the latest one (1) month prior. Expect that not all guests will reply on the RSVP date listed on your invitation so it's a great idea to list an RSVP up to fourteen (14) days prior to when your Function Forms are due, which is twenty-one (21) days prior to the function
Our coordinator will be in touch to arrange this meeting once your have emailed your completed functions forms. The forms should be emailed to you three (3) months prior to your function. Importantly, all functions forms must be completed in full and returned in the format sent (i.e: Excel or Word) before the final meeting.
No, sparklers and some fireworks can be lit in the front courtyard of the venue but confetti, rose petals and bubbles are strictly forbidden inside or out for OH&S reasons
Maison allows limited food stuffs to be brought in for service at a function. These include pre-packaged (not glad wrapped) dry goods such as nuts. For strict kosher meals, we allow up to 5% of meals to be provided from a licenced caterer delivered in a Food Safety Vehicle prior to the function. These meals are subject to a service fee. Of course, we also allow wedding cakes from profesional suppliers!
No, it will most likely fall through the roof. We really got asked this question once!
We cater for almost all dietary requirement although we cannot guarantee traces of allergans are not in the food. As such guests with serious allergies should note that meal mix-ups can occur. Of course we take due care however, no responsibility for meal mix-ups.
We generally make allowance for additional meals when ordering so you may add guests but not subtract guests from your submitted guest numbers. Please inform our coordinator prior to confirming additional guest to ensure meals can be provided last minute
No, every seat must have a meal provided at the price listed your your booking agreement.
